He appeared in television and film productions which included <span class=\"title\">The Joe Louis Stor</span>y (1953) and <span class=\"title\">A Gathering of Old Men</span> (1987). Sidney also campaigned for congressional hearings that protested negative images of blacks in advertising and television.</p>"}
