{"value"=>"<p>Pinkard, a songwriter, obtained his music education at Bluefield State Institute (now College) in West Virginia. In 1914 he founded a theatrical agency in Omaha, Nebraska, and published his first song, \"When He Sang that Baritone\" in 1915. In 1922, Pinkard settled in New York City and founded Pinkard Publications, a sheet music publishing house. Also in 1922, he composed the music for the musical <span class=\"title\">Liza</span>. Pinkard's best known songs were \"Sweet Georgia Brown\"; \"Don't Cry, Little Girl\"; and \"Mammy O' Mine.\"</p>"}
