Productions included <span class=\"title\">The Death of Bessie Smith</span>, <span class=\"title\">African Heaven</span>, <span class=\"title\">A Raisin in the Sun</span>, <span class=\"title\">Lost in the Stars</span>, <span class=\"title\">Othello</span>, <span class=\"title\">Dark of the Moon</span>, and <span class=\"title\">God's Trombones</span>. A second company was opened in New York with the purpose of catering to black audiences by bussing them from other cities to see Off-Broadway productions. Hilda Simms and Diana Sands acted as hostesses for these tours. PBTC also had a children's theatre.</p>"}
