{"value"=>"<p>Actor, producer and poet. Baltimore native Croxton was a graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. He made his acting debut, in 1969, in <span class=\"title\">Indians</span> opposite Stacy Keach. A Shakespearean actor, Croxton made numerous appearances on Broadway and Off-Broadway in <span class=\"title\">King Lear</span> (opposite Frank Silvera and Mary Alice), <span class=\"title\">Othello</span>, and <span class=\"title\">The Tempest</span>, and he acted in plays written by Ed Bullins, Larry Neal, and Owen Dodson. He wrote and directed two one-man shows, and he recorded four albums of poetry and drama for <span class=\"title\">Scholastic</span> Magazine and Harcourt-Brace.</p>"}
