{"value"=>"<p>Singer, actor, and columnist. Born in Texas, Browning became a member of Exposition Four, a singing quartet, which toured the vaudeville circuit (1915). He was the first leading man in Sissle and Blake's <span class=\"title\">Shuffle Along</span>, as well as the lead in <span class=\"title\">Chocolate Dandies</span> (1924). Browning was part of the singing duo \"Browning and (Henry) Starr,\" and toured with the Harmony Kings until 1933. He also acted in films including <span class=\"title\">Young at Heart</span>.</p>"}
