{"value"=>"<p>Nancy Heller worked for the New York Shakespeare Festival in various capacities for over 15 years beginning in the mid-1960s. During that time she served as director of community relations, a role which included responsibility for the Mobile Theater, and also as Director of Audience Development. Her responsibilities also included the Festival's Annual Report in the 1970s, and other writing assignments for Festival press releases and publicity. Nancy Heller may also have worked with Ted Cornell at The Other Stage, where the NYSF ran experimental plays, and admission was free. Several files in her papers relate to Other Stage Productions (1968-1972).</p>"}

{"value"=>"<p>Nancy Heller's papers reflect some aspects of her work with the NYSF but do not include information on many of her responsibilities. The papers are divided into three subseries: Community Relations, Audience Development, and the Other Stage. The records include correspondence, memos, press releases, programs, and reports. The community relations department is the best documented aspect of Nancy Heller's work, and reflects the Festival's commitment to bringing Shakespeare to the neighborhoods of New York through the Mobile Theater. Audience Development files includes some copy for annual reports and records of promotional activities, including discount tickets and a limerick contest.</p>"}
