{"value"=>"<p>Goldsmith's files on her 1980 book, <span class=\"title\">Little Gloria…Happy at Last</span> consist mainly of research files, but also include photographs and images, drafts, and a small amount of post publication materials. Research files, arranged alphabetically by topic, cover individuals, locations, incidents, and institutions that created the historical background for the book. The topics covered most extensively include the Vanderbilt and Whitney families, the various properties they owned, and the artistic institutions they patronized. Especially well-represented family members include Alice Gwynne Vanderbilt, Reginald Claypoole Vanderbilt, and most extensively, Gertrude Vanderbilt Whitney. There are also many files on the British Royal Family, including the Windsor and Mountbatten families; and infamous kidnappings of wealthy children during the 1920s and 1930s. Research files consist of notes; copies and excerpts from newspapers, magazines, and books; copies and transcripts of letters; timelines; and draft excerpts. Images and photographs contain unsorted prints, photocopies, and occasionally original photographs and slides, articles, and other images collected as research for the book, as well as those used in the final version of the book. Manuscripts consist of complete and incomplete drafts of Goldsmith's book and the screenplay for the television movie based on it, some of which are annotated. Post-publication materials included here are a 1998 interview with Goldsmith about the book, a few reviews, and a pilot for a 2008 series on the Vanderbilt family.</p>"}
