Weston served on the nominating and executive committees, and was deeply involved in endowment funds, grants, and other financial concerns of the college. He occasionally gave commencement addresses at St. Augustine's, for which notes and transcripts are included. Weston was particularly interested in capital investments at the college, including construction of a new library building.
