This support takes the form of supplying funding for projects, expertise in the field, personnel, and other forms of assistance. Italy was a member organization, but withdrew due to a dispute that is partially documented in the records. CARE Brasil is not represented as CARE International's work in Brazil only began in 1999.</p> <p>The records document CARE's efforts to establish offices in member organizations' countries. The records also document CARE USA's intervention in cases of disputes between member organizations and a host country, projects funded by CARE's partners, and interoffice correspondence between CARE's Presidents and National Directors of the member organizations.</p>"}
