{"value"=>"<p>Boxes 491-502 contain a variety of forms, most of them originating with the multi-year planning system in 1975. Exceptions are the action forms from 1958-1974, filed alphabetically by country in Boxes 491-496. The action forms, originally kept in loose-leaf binders, are the program proposal approval forms for each project; taken together, they provide an overview of CARE's activities in each country up to 1974. Copies of these forms are also in the appropriate country project files.</p> <p>Box 497 also includes pre-1975 materials: the Self-Help Agreements, or Partnership Development Projects (P. D. P.s) and Broadened Partnership Agreements (B. P. A.s) carried out in conjunction with host governments and local communities, circa 1969-1973, filed by agreement number.</p> <p>Box 498 contains copies of the agreements with host governments for each project, alphabetically by country, circa 1974-1981. Project agreements, circa 1976-1985, are in Box 499, filed by country and by PCN (Project Control Number) therein.</p> <p>Box 500 mostly contains project approval forms, especially the post-1975 Annual Implantation Plan forms (A. I. P.s), by country. Boxes 500-502 also hold APDs, the forms issued at the beginning of each multi-year planning period (APD-1s); upon approval of the basic elements of each project (APD-2s); and upon authorization for full implementation of those projects (APD-3s), 1975-1984. Additionally, Box 502 includes a set of Multi-Year Plan fact sheets and country program profiles, by country, 1975-1979, and a set of planning, implementation, and evaluation memos (P. I. E.s), 1979-1980, periodically submitted by mission personnel to CARE program staff, chiefly for record-keeping purposes.</p>"}
