D. from circa 1966-1980 (Boxes 96-103).</p> <p>Boxes 92-95, Alderfer's files, consist entirely of subject files, circa 1959-1964, mostly containing correspondence with CARE member agencies and other relief organizations. About one-fourth of the files in Box 94 pertain to CARE's relationship with the Peace Corps.</p> <p>Boxes 96-98 of Mert Cregger's files are also subject files, circa 1966-1980, containing material on conferences, administrative matters, and special events such as International Women's Year, 1975, as well as correspondence with other organizations. Box 99, country files, holds mostly correspondence with CARE mission chiefs.</p> <p>Boxes 101-102, Haiti-HACHO files, 1965-1973, document CARE's relationship with HACHO (Haitian-American Community Help Organization), a private organization based in Port-au-Prince that emphasized public health and nutrition education. Items include progress reports, statistics, and minutes of HACHO Board of Directors meetings.</p> <p>Box 102 contains the A. E. D.'s files on CARE's nutrition programming, chiefly its workshops for CARE overseas staff and its A. I. D. - funded grants for food distribution and nutrition education programs.
