{"value"=>"<p>Subseries reflects the scope of programs and benefits sponsored by NAG in order to raise funds. The themes and types of programs changed over the years ranging from annual balls, revues, testimonial dinners, moonlight cruises, dances and Christmas parties. The fortieth anniversary (1977) dinner dance was a major event as was the 1980 Gala Night of Super Stars/Tribute to Cab Calloway. The files consist of programs and flyers for these events, souvenir journals, contracts, correspondence pertaining to the planning of the event, tickets and ticket orders. There are also programs for the annual Easter Sunday memorial services; those honored were not necessarily Guild members (1938-1978). The arrangement of this subseries is chronological within type of material.</p>"}
