By shooting voluminous amount of footage and editing as collective entity, the group was able to produce its short format documentary Testing the Limits : NYC in 1987 and Voices from the Front in 1991. Testing the Limits: NYC documents early AIDS activism in New York in the wake of the mobilization of ACT UP. The documentary explored the many political, social and economic dilemmas caused by the spread of the AIDS virus in New York City. Voices from the Front expands on many of the ideas presented in the collective's earlier work.</p>"}
