{"value"=>"<p>The earliest papers in the entire collection are original deeds belonging to Huntington ancestors, the Taskers, of Marblehead, Massachusetts. The Tasker documents date from 1734-1797 and are accompanied by transcripts. Many of the most recent items in the collection also belong to the Huntingtons. There are many legal and financial documents of Francis and Susan Butler Huntington's children Prescott Butler, William Reed II and Christopher. They were the heirs of Susan Butler Huntington's brothers, Charles Stewart Butler and Lawrence Smith Butler, since neither had children. Many of the financial and legal documents in their names pertain to the family's Long Island properties that were handed down to them.</p>"}
