To a lesser extent, there is some correspondence between Janet Gregg and the management team 1947-1949, after she assumed the position of President of the company following Gregg's death in 1948. This later correspondence includes the sale of the Gregg Publishing Co. to McGraw-Hill Publishing Co. There is also a limited exchange of correspondence between the Gregg Publishing Co. United States and the Gregg Publishing Co. Ltd. London. Subjects discussed in the inter-office correspondence include: changes and improvements to the Gregg manuals and related publications, employee problems, competition from rival shorthand systems, comparative sales reports 1930-1948, financial planning 1937-1942, general merchandise sales reports 1936-1942, general operating statements 1902-1927, and royalty reports 1910-1946. Notable correspondents who were employed by the Gregg Publishing Co. include Hubert A. Hagar, General Manager; Guy S. Fry, Secretary Treasurer; Louis A. Leslie, author; and Ernest W.
