Included is correspondence by Sol Bloom (with a few carbon copies of replies) from persons prominent in politics, government, diplomacy and public affairs expressing appreciation and congratulations and relating also (although to a lesser extent) to public affairs and to matters pending before the House Committee on Foreign Affairs including Lend-Lease, Palestine, refugee relief, Zionism and the development of Rockefeller Center in New York City. Included is a \"Book of Esteem\" presented to Sol Bloom in 1934 by President Roosevelt in recognition of his services as director of the United States George Washington Bicentennial Commission containing about 600 letters of appreciation to Sol Bloom from prominent persons. There are also about 75 letters received acknowledging receipt of Sol Bloom's book <em render=\"underline\">One with God Is a Majority</em>. Correspondents include Dean Acheson, Sholem Asch, Nicholas Murray Butler, Lord Halifax, Winston Churchill, Roy W. Howard, Cordell Hull, Joseph P. Kennedy, Charles A. Lindbergh, Edwin Markham, Nelson A. Rockefeller, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Edward R. Stettinius, Henry L. Stimson, and Harry S. Truman. Included is one letter (1911) by Samuel Gompers introducing Sol Bloom to labor leaders in the British West Indies.</p>"}
