{"value"=>"<p>The bulk of the cases originate from persons residing in Romania and in the Federal Republic of Germany who requested the League's aid in helping themselves or their relatives to emigrate to the Federal Republic of Germany, and to other countries including Holland, Mexico, and the United States. (Many of the requests were channeled through the League's affiliate in the Federal Republic of Germany). The case sheets contain the name, address and profession of the aggrieved person, the name and address of the complainant acting on his behalf, and a summary of the case including actions taken by the League. Attached to the case sheets are collateral records including correspondence with the complainant and the aggrieved person, with officials of foreign diplomatic missions, the Department of State, and Members of Congress. Some of the records are in German, Romanian, and French languages. Many of the principal documents have been synopsized in English.</p>"}
