{"value"=>"<p>This file consists of printed matter published and/or collected by IALA arranged chronologically in the period 1917-1951. In the early period (1917-1923) the file consists mainly of pamphlets relating to Esperanto and to its teaching in school; and to progress reports of the Committee on International Auxiliary Language of the International Research Council. Beginning in 1924 the bulk of the printed matter (leaflets, flyers, cuttings from periodicals) consists of IALA publications including annual reports, bulletins, reprints, and articles by IALA members and collaborators including Helen S. Eaton, Otto Jespersen, Edward Sapir, and Herbert N. Shenton. Included is a reprint of <em render=\"italic\">Comparative Frequency List</em>, by Helen S. Eaton; and a pamphlet <em render=\"italic\">Language Learning / Summary of a Report to the International Auxiliary Language Association</em>, by the Division of Psychology, Institute of Educational Research, Teachers College, Columbia University. Included also is a pamphlet (1946) entitled: <em render=\"italic\">Questionnaire prepared for IALA</em> by André Martinet. There are also two annual reports translated into Ido and Esperanto.</p>"}
