Several of the cassettes record press conferences given jointly by Goodell and Daniel Ellsberg relating to the Pentagon Papers case. Included also are professional recordings of radio spots and debates; and sound recordings used in Goodell's television commercials. There are a few tapes of speeches by other politicians including a recording of President Richard M. Nixon's State of the Union Address (January 1971). There are also recordings of oral history interviews with Goodell conducted in 1978.</p>"}
