Buckley), and of the Democratic Party (Richard L. Ottinger). The papers include Goodell's correspondence with volunteers, consultants, advertising agencies, Republican Party committeemen; scripts of speeches and press conferences; staff memoranda; schedules; analyses of candidates' voting records; press releases and publicity materials. Included also are correspondence and financial records of the Goodell for Senator Committee; and copies of financial records of other committees supporting Goodell which were filed in compliance with the election laws. There are also campaign research files relating to the candidates' respective positions on public issues. There is also some general correspondence relative to Republican Party affairs and to patronage.</p>"}
