{"value"=>"<p>Phillip J. Young (born 1919) was a lifelong fan of Tallulah Bankhead (1902-1968), the film and stage actor. Young would attend her movies and theater productions. The advent of World War II did not interrupt his devotion to Bankhead. In 1942, while stationed in South Carolina, Young managed to secure tickets to attend the opening performance of The Skin of Our Teeth on Broadway (letters September 28th and 30th, 1942, located in scrapbook 1942). Bankhead knew of Young and occasionally sent him autographed photographs. Young, to a much lesser extent, documented the careers of actors Helen Hays, Dorothy McGuire and Katherine Hepburn.</p>"}
