{"value"=>"<p>Conductor and music director Harry Salter was born in Bucharest, Roumania on Sept. 14, 1898 (Some sources list birth year as 1899.) He conducted orchestras for numerous radio and television programs, such as <span class=\"title\">Hollywood Calling</span>, <span class=\"title\">Hobby Lobby</span>, <span class=\"title\">Mr. District Attorney</span>, and <span class=\"title\">Pot o' Gold</span> (which inspired <span class=\"title\">Stop the Music!</span>) and worked with performers such as Milton Berle and Arlene Francis. Salter was also the original producer and conductor for <span class=\"title\">Name That Tune</span>. He created <span class=\"title\">Stop the Music!</span> on radio and television, also serving as music director. Salter was married to Roberta Semple and they had a daughter, Victoria. He died on Mar. 5, 1984 in Mamaroneck, New York.</p>"}
