Entertainment Inc. and was best known for her roles in the films <span class=\"title\">The Mystery of the Wax Museum</span> (1933) and <span class=\"title\">Torchy Blane</span> (1937-1939). Her stage work includes the productions of <span class=\"title\">Thanks for My Wife</span> (1940), <span class=\"title\">Separate Rooms</span> (1940), and <span class=\"title\">Mrs. Gibbons' Boys</span> (1949). In 1941, Farrell married Henry Ross. She died in 1971 from lung cancer.</p>"}

The bulk of the collection consists of scripts with Farrell's personalized annotations on many of them, such as the scripts for <span class=\"title\">Thanks for My Wife</span>, <span class=\"title\">Mrs. Gibbons' Boys</span>, and <span class=\"title\">Brief Moment</span>. There is also a large amount of sound recordings from radio stations, such as Farrell's appearances on <span class=\"title\">Candlelight</span> (WABC Station, 1939), <span class=\"title\">Lincoln Highwa</span>y (WEAF Station, 1942), and the <span class=\"title\">Palmolive Show</span> (WEAF Station,1944).</p> <p>There are production stills from her performance in <span class=\"title\">The Mystery of the Wax Museum</span>, and autographed headshots from other actors. There is a scrapbook of clippings and programs from <span class=\"title\">Thanks for My Wife</span> and <span class=\"title\">Separate Room</span>s.</p> <p>The collection also includes awards, certificates, and letters such as a telegram about Farrell's Emmy nomination for her supporting role in the 1962 \"A Cardinal Act of Mercy\" episode on <span class=\"title\">Ben Case</span>y, and her 1956 certificate from the State of Oklahoma for \"Honorary Colonel of the Governor's Staff.\" Additionally, there are congratulatory cards and telegrams (dated 1954), and cards and letters of condolences addressed to Henry Ross after Farrell's death.</p>"}
