After immigrating to the United States in 1938, she appeared on film, television, radio, and the New York stage through the 1950s, including the Broadway play <span class=\"title\">Joan of Lorraine</span> (1946). She began her career as a sculptor in 1959, and studied at the Art Students League in New York.</p>"}
