His production credits include Ballad for Broadway for the Broadway Show League; Memory Book for the 40th anniversary season of the Actors Fund of America; the Sophie Tucker Story; and the Talent 59 and Talent 60 productions for the Broadway Show League. He also produced Broadway U.S.A. a musical revue for American military personnel stationed abroad. Effrat was the founder of the Broadway Show League, a non-profit organization which offers cast and crew from Broadway and Off-Broadway shows the opportunity to engage in softball games.</p> <p>Effrat died in New York State in 1965.</p>"}
