{"value"=>"Henry B. Forbes (d. 1958) was a theatrical producer active on Broadway in the 1920s and 1930s. He also worked as an actor in the 1910s and early 1920s, performing with the East-West Players. The Henry B. Forbes papers (1917-1952) contain programs, clippings, contracts, business correspondence, and other papers regarding his theatrical work. Productions represented in the collection include <span class=\"title\">Tin Pan Alley</span> (1928), <span class=\"title\">Schoolgirl</span> (1930), <span class=\"title\">Thunder on the Left</span> (1933), <span class=\"title\">The Wild Duck</span> (1938), and <span class=\"title\">Walk Into My Parlor</span> (1940). The collection includes posters for the tryouts of <span class=\"title\">Wild Birds</span> (1929) and <span class=\"title\">Schoolgirl</span>, a scrapbook dedicated to <span class=\"title\">Thunder on the Left</span>, and a production photograph from <span class=\"title\">Tin Pan Alley</span>."}
