At various times in his career Chandos Sweet worked as an actor and also served as an agent for actors, but by the late 1930s he was employed primarily as a manager, and remained active in that capacity almost to the end of his life. Sweet formed an especially close friendship with Gertrude Lawrence. Chandos Sweet died in March 1960.</p>", "supress_display"=>true}
