She studied Laban theory and acted as the editor for the Dance Research Journal's Juana de Laban tribute in 1981. Her private practice treated myofascial pain using movement. In 2010, she retired from private practice to focus on teaching through her movement-education company, Body-in-Motion. Woodruff continues to teach and publish articles on the Body-In-Motion website.</p>"}
