Born in Millville, Pennsylvania, he graduated from the New York University School of Music Education and maintained a teaching studio in Carnegie Hall for almost fifty years. In addition to touring the east coast as singer, organist, guitarist, and accordionist, he was the organist for Fort Washington Presbyterian Church. Eves died on August 12th, 1997, in New York City.</p>"}

The collection also holds a photograph of Eves, a short biography, the program from his memorial service, and a transcription of a promotional brochure for Eves. The transcription is on a Microsoft Word 5 for Macintosh file produced in 1998 by Eves' niece, Dr. Margaret Barton Small. A listing of Eves' compositions compiled by Dr. Small can be found on the archival portal.</p>"}
