She wrote lyrics for the Broadway shows <span class=\"title\">Peter Pan</span>, <span class=\"title\">Wildcat</span>, <span class=\"title\">How Now Dow Jones</span> and <span class=\"title\">Little Me</span> as well as for a tribute to labor commissioned by the United States Department of Labor entitled <span class=\"title\">Something to Do</span>. She also wrote for television and numerous popular songs including <span class=\"title\">Young at Heart</span>, <span class=\"title\">Witchcraft</span> and <span class=\"title\">Firefly</span>. Among her principal collaborators were Cy Coleman, Mark 'Moose' Charlap, John Richards, Philip Springer, Elmer Bernstein, Morton Gould and Lee Pockriss. Ms. Leigh died in 1983 in New York and was inducted posthumously into the Song Writers' Hall of Fame in 1985.</p>"}
