abstract
{"value"=>"Thomas Woodrow Wilson (1856-1924) was the 28th President of the United States, in office from 1913 to 1921. He served as President of Princeton University from 1902 to 1910, and then as the Governor of New Jersey from 1911 to 1913. The collection consists of a small quantity of letters written by Wilson to various individuals during his tenure as president of Princeton University (1904-1910), Governor of New Jersey (1911-1912), and as President of the United States (1914-1920). Recipients include George W. Smith, Gilbert H. Montague, and Seth Low. Letters generally relate to social matters, though some reference official business. Letters written during his presidency are mainly acknowledgments to his supporters. One outgoing letter is from Wilson's wife, Margaret, and three incoming letters are from George W. Smith. Also included are several photographs, and Wilson's fountain pen"}
