His last performance was in New York, in the play “Mid-Channel” with Ethel Barrymore. Boniface had three children: Symona, Ferner and George, Jr.</p>"}

At the age of seventy-four, Jones, who in his day was known throughout the country, was Boston's oldest actor. He was a member of the Howard Athenaeum Stock Co. for many years and was connected with the stage for a total of fifty-two years.</p> <p>Nathaniel married Mollie Newton, member of the famous Newton Sisters.</p>"}

There are account books, ca. 1839-1867, relating to theatrical production expenses at the <span class=\"corpname\">Tremont Theater, Boston</span>, and <span class=\"geogname\">Bangor, Maine</span>; prompt books used by <span class=\"persname\">George C. Boniface Sr</span>., <span class=\"persname\">George C. Boniface Jr.</span>, and <span class=\"persname\">Nathaniel Dexter Jones</span>, in addition to a journal, March to December 1857, of a voyage from <span class=\"geogname\">Boston</span> to <span class=\"geogname\">Bombay</span>, kept by Nathaniel while he was a crew member on board the ship <span class=\"corpname\">“Santiago.”</span> The journal discribes his duties, treatment by officers, food, weather, shipboard routines and leisure time activities.</p> <p>Also included is one folder of miscellaneous papers and business correspondence, 1828-1902, of the Jones and Boniface families.</p>"}
