{"value"=>"<p> Bettye Lane began work as a free-lance photographer in 1959; she studied photojournalism at Boston University's School of Public Relations and Communications from 1959-1962. Then, as a photojournalist, Lane began documenting the human condition and human rights movements in 1965.
