W. Curtis, J. R. Gilmore, and others, as well as a letter transcribed by the author, dated 1866, from Julius Bing to Joseph H. Ashton, and an undated letter to Moncure D. Conway transcribed by Walt Whitman but signed by O'Connor. There are letters to O'Connor from Charles Wesley Eldridge, Lafcadio Hearn, H. J. Raymond, Thomas Jefferson Whitman, Walt Whitman, and others, dating from 1863 to 1888.</p>"}
