{"value"=>"<p>Seth Bingham (b Bloomfield, NJ, 16 April 1882; d New York, 21 June 1972) was an organist and composer. He attended Yale University, where he studied with Horatio Parker; his other teachers were Vincent D’Indy, Alexandre Guilmant and Harry Jepson. Bingham taught at Yale (1908 - 1919) and then at Columbia University, and was the longtime organist at Madison Avenue Presbyterian Church. In addition to organ works (the most famous of which is the <span class=\"title\">Concerto for Brass, Snare Drum and Organ</span>(1954)), Bingham wrote many orchestral and chamber music pieces, as well as choral compositions and songs.</p> <p>Source:</p> <p>Hitchcock, H.
