Squire, on July 8, 1815 and kept it as a record of her religious life for a year. The diary is written in a book given to Squire by her \"dearest earthly friend\" and was intended for his eyes only. It reveals personal standards of conduct, mentions her joining the Presbyterian Church, and gives her views on Christian unity. Appended are the sermon delivered by Reverend E. Mason at Squire's son's funeral on July 9, 1815 and \"Sunday School Accounts\" from 1819 and 1820"}
