{"value"=>"<p>Paul Pallos was a composer based in Vienna who published mostly operetta-like songs between 1900 and 1920. The exact number of his compositions is unknown, but it is believed to have included hundreds of such songs.</p> <p>In his haste to depart from Austria during the Anschluss in 1938, Pallos was able to leave with only a tiny portion of his published output, that which is represented in this collection.</p> <p>He eventually emigrated to the United States and lived in the New York area. The date of his death is unknown.</p>"}
