During most of the time span of the records, 1929-1941, the NACRE was headed by the Director, Levering Tyson (1889-?), between the years 1930-1937.</p> <p>The NACRE is organized through a Director, Executive Board, Executive Committee, Members of Council, Officers and Associate members. The NACRE promoted education by radio through its contacts with various organizations and corporations, i. e. The American Association for Adult Education; The American Library Association. Also, the NACE kept in contact with radio stations across the country, notably those which had educational programs on their agenda.</p> <p>Funding in part, was from the Carnegie Corporation which endowed them sporadically</p>"}
