{"value"=>"<p>A collection of small accessions dealing with the Mormon Church.|||Material collected by Woodward includes three letters and a document to John E. and Mary Page of Pittsburgh, 1842-45, a letter from John Burrows to Theodor Curtis, 1870, and a letter from Sidney Rigdon to Woodward, 1873.|||The Correspondence and notes of Robert Patterson, editor of the Pittsburgh PRESBYTERIAN BANNER, were created in the course of his research on the Solomon Spaulding \"Manuscript Found.\" The results of his researh were published in the pamphlet, \"Who Wrote the Book of Mormon?\", 1882. Included is correspondence with D.P. Hurlbut and E.D. Howe, 1879-80, transcripts of letters of his father Robert Patterson and Elisha Macurdy, 1801-02, and transcripts of newspaper clippings.|||The essay by John Zahnd is a thirty-one page undated carbon typescript contrasting the beliefs and practices of the Mormons with those of the Church of Christ.|||The Ingersoll material consists of an A.L.S., 27 November 1899 from Ingersoll at Sioux City, Iowa to Helen Miller Gould. Enclosed with the letter are Ingersoll's holograph poem \"Kate Field's Love Letter\" and her holograph essay \"Mormonism Unveiled.\".|||Transcripts of two newspaper articles on Sidney Rigdon which appeared in the Friendship (N.Y.) STANDARD of July 29 and August 5, 1876.</p>"}
