Born in California, she is an accomplished singer who has sung opera and classical music as well as appearing on Broadway. Her dubbing credits include the singing voice of Maria in <span class=\"title\">West Side Story</span> for Natalie Wood, the singing voice of Anna in <span class=\"title\">The King and I</span> for Deborah Kerr and the singing voice of Eliza Doolittle in <span class=\"title\">My Fair Lady</span> for Audrey Hepburn. Nixon has also appeared in a touring company of <span class=\"title\">Cabaret</span> as Fraulein Schneider and as the singing voice of Grandma Fa in the Disney release <span class=\"title\">Mulan</span> as well as in many other roles.</p>"}
