Letters, 1762-1882, written in longhand, are from shorthand writers and teachers of shorthand. Also, shorthand manuscripts including Bibles, psalms, prayer book, and notes on sermons."}

Published works include: The Teaching Practice Literature of Shorthand (1884); Shorthand Instruction and Practice (1893).</p> <p>The Guide to the Research Collection of the New York Public Library (1975) states that Rockwell collected particular distinctive curious, or rare titles, rather than systematic series of editions; these include textbooks, Bibles, Testaments and prayer books in the various systems of shorthand. The manuscript portion of this collection is in the Manuscript Section of the Rare Books and Manuscripts Division. The National Shorthand Reporters Association donated this collection to the library in 1927.</p>"}
