Lockley, Philip O'Connor, Hugh Leslie Perkoff, Hugh Gordon Porteous, Frederic Prokosh, Keidrych Rhys, Francis Scarfe, Ruthven Todd, and George Woodcock relating to the author or previously owned by him. The correspondence consists of letters by the author, dating from 1938 to 1967, to Cyril Connolly, Harold Fisher, Graham Greene, Geoffrey Grigson, and others, as well as a letter relating to the author, dated 1943 from Derek S. Savage to the editors of the Partisan Review. There are letters to Symons from Chatto & Windus in London, Robert Conquest, Eyre & Spottiswoode in London, Harper & Bros. in New York, Herbert B. Mallalieu, Samuel French Morse, Philip O'Connor, George Marion O'Donnell, George Orwell, Hugh Leslie Perkoff, Hugh Gordon Porteous, Guy Pritchett, Frederic Prokosch, Keidrych Rhys, Laura Riding, Derek S.
