The correspondence includes letters from the author, dating from 1910 to 1935, to Warren Barton Blake, Thomas Bodkin, Padraic Colum, Baron Dunsany, Lady Gregory, W. T. H. Howe, Sir Edward Howard Marsh, Clement King Shorter, and others. There are also letters relating to the author, dating from 1913 to 1939, between various correspondents including W. T. H. Howe, George William Russell, and others. There are letters to Stephens from Claud Lovat Fraser, James Joyce, Stephen MacKenna, John Masefield, George Moore, George William Russell, May Sarton, and W. B.
