Goin includes programs, a clipping, a letter to his son, and a telegram from Adam Clayton Powell, Sr.</p> <p>Materials related to Edward H. include letters from Edwin F. Blair, an attorney and classmate of his, recommending him for a position and referring to funds he provided for Viola's daughters' college education, as well as an article and an obituary.</p> <p>Viola Goin Palmer is represented by letters from her to Edwin Blair requesting said assistance in financing her daughters' education, and Blair's note to Goin advising that he had sent her the money.</p> <p>Marie C. Goin's papers include personal letters, a clipping regarding her employment with the State Welfare Board of Greensboro, North Carolina, and a letter referencing her work in New Haven.</p>"}
