{"value"=>"The Eliot, James, and Livingston Genealogical Research Papers contain the genealogical research conducted by several members of the New York Genealogical and Biographical Society. The bulk of the collection consists of genealogical notes on the Stoutenburgh and Livingston families produced by Maude Stoutenbergh Eliot, Philip Schuyler De Luze, Mrs. Ellot James, and Charlotte Lucia Livingston, between 1870 and 1930. The collection also contains correspondence, chiefly letters to Charlotte Lucia Livingston dealing almost entirely with genealogical research, some family photographs, printed material related to the research, and applications to hereditary societies. There is also a small amount of material concerning the Bangle Club, of which Livingston was a member, including a handwritten copy of its by-laws. The club, located in New York City, was composed of twelve \"spinsters\" who met to discuss literature. They also published MUM magazine, and adopted the names of female literary figures"}
