{"value"=>"<p>Lynn Garafola is a noted dance historian, critic and commentator. Garafola's many publications span articles, editing, book reviews, translations and books, including <span class=\"title\">Diaghilev's Ballets Russes</span>, her first publication. She is a recipient of the De la Torre Bueno Prize. Garafola is a Professor of Dance at Barnard College in New York City.</p> <p>Bronislava Nijinska (1891-1972) was a Russian dancer, choreographer, and teacher of Polish descent. Her brother was Vaslav Nijinsky. Married twice, she had two children including a daughter Irina Nijinska, also a ballet dancer. Nijinska moved to the United States in 1938 where she continued her career. <span class=\"title\">Bronislava Nijinska: Early Memoirs</span> was published and edited by Irina Nijinska (1913-1991) and Jean Rawlinson.</p>"}
