{"value"=>"<p>Nina Alovert was born in Russia in 1935, attended Leningrad State University, and earned a Master of Arts degree in history. Her interest in ballet led to work as a photographer with the Kirov Ballet in the 1950s, where she first photographed Mikhail Baryshnikov. Alovert moved to the United States in 1977, and worked as a freelance photographer and critic with both <span class=\"title\">Dance Magazine</span> and <span class=\"title\">Ballet Review</span>. She has published numerous books of her photographs, and was the photographer for the Emmy Award winning production, <span class=\"title\">Wolf Trap Presents The Kirov: Swan Lake</span> in 1986.</p>"}
