{"value"=>"<p>Monica Moseley (1942-2010) began her career in New York City in 1964 as an assistant editor at <span class=\"title\">Dance Magazine</span>. She worked at the magazine until 1968, when she became one of the founding members of Meredith Monk's performance company, The House. Moseley performed with Monk until the early 1980s, appearing in such performances as <span class=\"title\">Juice: A Theatre Cantata in 3 Installments</span> (1969), <span class=\"title\">Education of the Girlchild</span> (1973), and <span class=\"title\">Chacon</span> (1974-1975). In 1981, she earned her Master's Degree in Library Science from Columbia University, and began working at the Jerome Robbins Dance Division at the New York Public Library, where she would eventually serve as an assistant curator until her retirement in 2005.</p> <p>Meredith Monk is a composer, performer, vocalist, filmmaker, and choreographer who founded The House, a company dedicated to an interdisciplinary approach to performance. Monk is known for her vocal techniques, site-specific performances, and extensive recording career. She continues to compose new music and create theatrical works.</p>"}
