He danced with the Pauline Koner Dance Consort between 1978 and 1980; Danzahoy, a Venezuelan Dance company in 1981; and the Don Redlich Dance Company in 1982. That same year he began work as a company dancer with the José Limón Dance Company, and went on to complete a choreography residency with the company in 1985. Clinton died two years later in New York City on March 9, 1989.</p>"}

The collection includes schedules and itineraries from Clinton's tenure with the Pauline Koner Dance Consort between 1978 and 1980, a 1980 summer contact from the University of Southern Mississippi, a 1981 contract with Danzahoy, and travel itineraries from his time with the Don Redlich Dance Company. The rest of the papers relate to Clinton's work with the José Limón Dance Company between 1982 and 1986. These materials contain agreements, tour itineraries, letters from artistic director Carla Maxwell, and handwritten dance instructions. Also included is a photocopy of José Limón's opening convocation speech at Connecticut College American dance festival, and a photocopied 1959 letter from Limón regarding the 10th anniversary of <span class=\"title\">The Moor's Pavane</span>.</p>"}
