{"value"=>"The CARE Alumni Memories collection consists of over 250 individual reflections written by former CARE employees, many of whom were associated with the organization for several decades. Their accounts were compiled into two documents by Cheenu K.T. Srinnivasan, a CARE India employee in conjunction with the launching of a website to connect CARE alumni. The reminiscences concern day to day events in the field and the administrative coordination and the logistics behind CARE's projects with CARE employees explaining how missions were carried out on the ground; why they committed themselves to humanitarian work; and their impressions of the areas in which they worked and of those who benefited from CARE. The collection documents CARE's work from approximately 1957 onward; some photographs are included."}
